Civil War and Living History Exhibit


Check out this link for a new exhibitor to this years festival. We are thrilled that Jimmie Jackson and his fellow Civil War Re-enactors will be with us this year. They will set up a living history display in the yard of the Methodist Church on Highland Avenue.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 4,5,& 6th 2009

At the Honey Festival in downtown Jackson Kentucky.
On the front lawn of the Methodist Church on College Street.
Come and see the women and men wearing the clothing of your great, great grand parents and feel the presence of the past.
Talk with the reenactors and learn the meaning of many 19th century facts.
Take part in history as you walk back in time where nothing was as important as life, liberty and freedom.
