Booths May Be Available!

Looking forward to a great festival this year. Everyone say a special prayer for good weather and safety for our exhibitors and visitors.

Booth Application Deadline has passed. Everyone should have received their applications. If I have missed anyone, please contact me as soon as possible.

We may have a few booths available for handmade crafts, but none available at this time for commercial vendors. If anyone has thought about selling their crafts at the Festival or knows someone who might be interested fill out an application and email it to honeyfestival@gmail.com  along with several photos of items you plan to sell.

Important Information to Review

Applications are being mailed to our exhibitors that reserved their booths for 2012. 


This is the last year we will provide 8 x 8 pegboard booths. Next year, all booths, inside and outside the tent, will be 10 x 10 spaces only. We will endeavor to keep the price at $75.00 per booth in the large craft tent for 2013. 


New Show hours are: 
             Friday 10 AM - 10/11 PM 
             Saturday 10 AM - 10 PM
             Sunday 10AM - 8 PM


Set up is on Thursday Evening after 6:00 PM - and Security will be provided after 10 PM. You may also set up before 10 AM on Friday, if needed.  ALL  BOOTHS should be set up completely by 10 AM on Friday and remain open during stated hours. Please contact us if you will not be able to set up by the scheduled time. 

New Links for Applications

I have posted new links on this blog and on our Facebook page for current Craft and Commercial Applications for the 2012 Breathitt Co Honey Festival. I now use www.dropbox.com to host the applications for download. The service I had previously used was trying to charge exhibitors to download and print the applications.

 If you have any issue with the applications, please call or email me at  honeyfestival@gmail.com   I will personally email you an application. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download from Adobe for your computer) to view and print the applications.

If you are a new exhibitor seeking a booth, or a returning exhibitors whose work has changed from previous festivals, please print and fill out a copy of the appropriate application. You may send it to us by US Mail or scan and email the filled out application.


Please include 4 photos of your crafts or commercial items with either option. One photo should be of a  current booth display.

Sophie & Emmie Deaton

Sophie and Emmie Deaton will be making their second appearance at the Honey Festival this year.  They are the daughters of Jerry "Bucky" Deaton and Leslie Deaton of Frankfort, and the granddaughters of Jerry and Kay Deaton, formerly of Breathitt County now living in Frankfort.  


Sophie and Emmie recently sang at Renfro Valley in a show held at the Old Barn Theater.  The girls, ages 15 and 12 have been singing and performing together for several years and have also played in Louisville, Shelbyville and Frankfort.  They will perform at 7:00 on Friday evening and 7:00 on Saturday evening."
