2011 Applications

2011 Applications and Invoices have been mailed to all exhibitors who had reserved their booths for this year and for new applicants. Most have been returned and are due by the August 1st deadline. Please contact  the Festival if you have been missed. An application can be downloaded form this page (left column). We are looking forward to a great festival!

New Exhibitor Harley Dougherty - Chainsaw Artist

Mr Dougherty will be demonstrating his chainsaw carving art during the 2010 Honey Festival. His booth will be located on Broadway, near the Food Booths. Come out and see this amazing artist!




Bio:  I was born and raised in Menifee Co. next to the Red River Gorge. After high school went to the US Army and KY Army National Guard and served in the Gulf War. 








I started carving with a chainsaw almost five years ago. This year I have qualified to carve in a World Championship Chainsaw Carving competition that will be held in Minnesota.  www.ccsaw.com

I really enjoy carving North America wildlife. I have a wonderful wife, Melody, that has supported my dream of making this my career.

"PAIGE GUESS" WILL BE DOING ONE SHOW AT 7PM SAT. SEPT.4TH AT THE 2010 BREATHITT COUNTY HONEY FESTIVAL.. 

SHE IS THE 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF DENNIS AND DREMA GUESS. PAIGE STARTED HER MUSIC CAREER AT AGE 4 ON CLASSICAL GUITAR LESSONS AND LEARNED TO READ MUSIC BEFORE LEARNING TO READ CLASS ROOM BOOKS. 

AT AGE 7 SHE CHOSE COUNTRY MUSIC AS HER MUSIC STYLE , AND WAS DOING STAGE SHOWS THE SAME YEAR WITH HER BAND. SHE HAS ENTERTAINED THOUSANDS IN THE TRI-STATE AREA . SHE HAS BEEN ON RADIO AND TV. PAIGE IS AN ACCOMPLISHED SONG WRITER , SHE WILL BE DOING SOME OF HER OWN MATERIAL AS WELL AS SOME COVER SONGS THAT ALL WILL BE FAMILAR WITH.

 BRAD SWAFFORD AN A&R VICE PRESIDENT FOR A MAJOR NASHVILLE LABEL WILL BE AT THE HONEY FESTIVAL STAGE TO VIEW PAIGE'S SHOW. PAIGE HAS BEEN DOING DEMO RECORDINGS IN HOPE OF GETTING A CAREER IN NASHVILLE. SHE IS A SENIOR AT LIBERTY CENTER HIGH SCHOOL WHERE SHE IS A VARSITY CHEER LEADER. SHE IS VERY ACTIVE IN ALL THE SCHOOLS MUSIC PRODUCTIONS. 

COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS YOUNG TALENT WHO HAS A BREATHITT COUNTY HERITAGE BEING RELATED TO THE "BACK " AND "MARSHALL" FAMILIES.
